Recovery

Labor is the easy part. Not sleeping well for 3 weeks straight and having someone depend on you for food every 3 hours is the hard part. But, last night Jane had sympathy for me and only woke up once. Thank you for your kindness sweet girl!

This morning I went to the gym and then did some yardwork outside with Siri. I love that she loves to help me rake and pick up branches. I enjoy being outside working, being in the sun. I was happy to rake the leaves to find green sprouts starting to grow. Only 2 more months until spring :)

Both kids are sleeping and Mark is out on a 3 hour ride (which will be followed by a short run). I usually log in to work for Backcountry.com at this time if its a weekday. Since its Saturday, I'll hurry and blog and maybe fall asleep listening to my book, The Endurance, on my iPod.

Are you kidding me? My kids didn't sleep through the night until they were a year! Taylor is feeling really lazy right now because I told him mark went out for a 3 hour ride and then ran. Tay only ran 6 miles yesterday. With work (traveling), kids, (kids in the hospital), and just life he isn't training as hard as he needs to and wants to. Tell Mark way to go!
