Ha! It worked!

Remember this post?  My friend Kelli told me about  a few  a ton of sweepstakes she has entered (and won!).  I found this one and thought it perfect to enter. I mostly don't love our entry door and porch-so blah and gray and 70's. Between that and having Mark right there to take a pic it motivated me. Today I got an email that I won the grand prize!  I was so excited I had to call Mark, knowing he's wasn't in cell phone range, and leave a message. We have to pay taxes on it and who knows how easy or hard it will be to actually make it all happen, but I am just psyched that I won.
Now if you're in Utah go sit by an open window or out on your porch and enjoy the rain. And have your kids play dressups while you're enjoying.

Thank you pioneers for doing what seems impossible, for trekking it out here. Its a desert, yes, but an awesome desert. You saw the beauty and importance in it that I'm not sure I would have.

getting to know the horses

I have 3 girls, my friend and cousin Erin has 3 girls. 

That's a lot of girls.

sometimes pool then napping gives you crazy hair, and the grumps.

(ghetto) bunk beds, but finally bunk beds. 

I love that they'll hang out in their room forever.

I've wanted to bike up Big Cottonwood for a long time, but was intimidated. 

Turns out that if you ride w awesome friends and their mom, it goes by in a breeze.
