Tonight we went boating with some of Mark's family up at East Canyon. It was really quiet, hardly anyone out. It was Siri's first time boating. Although she cried the whole time I was wakeboarding and kneeboarding, I had a blast. It had been too long!

She looked so funny in her life jacket! I think she was convinced it was paralyzing her.

Saturday we went swimming together

A couple weekends ago we went up to the cabin for the first time this year, and Siri's first time ever. Minus her having the worst night sleep ever, it was great to be up there. Roasting dogs and mallows, saw deer and a fox, yum-o popcorn, listened to J.Denver.
I love it.
So much.

It was awesome.

I left Friday AM for Minneapolis, the home of Rachel and Wade. Mark left that afternoon for Montana to shoot a wedding.

It was glorious!


Laying by the pool. Going to Julie&Julia. Trying to sleep in. Running along the Mississippi. Enjoying the absolutely beautiful abode of Rachel and Wade, seriously so nice. Mill City Farmers Market. Drinking lots of juice. Happy Birthday Wade. Ikea. Temple. Science Museum. Mall of America - Insane. Loved church at the Cedar Lake ward.








Mark came Sunday night after his wedding in Minneapolis. Yes!

Played Rockband. Ate Rachel's homemade apple pie. Tried again to sleep in. Walked around downtown. More soaking in the sun. This American Life. Flight of the Conchords. Going to dinner. Good times with great friends.



Crazy how 5 days seemed like 2 weeks since I'd seen Siri. It was so nice to take a break from diapers, but we're so happy to be back.

We are so lucky to...have friends, have friends in Minneapolis, for Mark's photography talent, for his talent to take him all over the place, and our families to help us take this trip! Thanks be to Sandy, Mom, Jenn, Liz for watching our precious most beautiful daughter.

Cleaning like crazy women to get my Mom and John moved out.

Went up Big Cottonwood with Tim and Liz to roast hotdogs, corn on the cob, and delicious hot shmoes.



Went over to Liz & Dan's last night for a while since our power was out.
I just got Siri these new jammers from Costco.
