It's the little things that make up life.
It was nearly midnight, right after watching Dan in Real Life, and I had just laid Siri down on our bed before swaddling her "tight like unto a dish" when I saw this image. For days, I had been trying to find the right setting to get a shot of her sweet feet and finally, the colors were right, lighting was in my favor (very low light and only my trusty nikon speedlight), and she was even semi-cooperative. Definitely well worth the wait. You can even see the little prick hole in her left heel from when they drew blood at the hospital a few days after she was born.
Thank you, tiny one, and all of your tiny parts, too.

Dudes,
I cant even began to express how a child can change your life. My Sam is my best bud and coming home to him and the Mrs after work, makes life soooooo much more cooler.
BTW, maybe we should hook Sam and Siri up Colombian style.....i'll give you 10 cows and 4 goats and we'll call it goods.
Oh my gosh!!! Congrats on the baby. Derek and I were both wondering if she had come. We are so glad that we found your blog and were able to see that she did. How is the sleep coming? What did she weigh when she was born?
We are super happy for you both!! Hope Ali is feeling well!!!
i know this is kind of late, but congratulations! what a sweet heart, and the pictures are beautiful. i hope i can meet her sometime soon.
