hanitizer

typical Jane-loves to be pantless, but with fun shoes on, and get into things

typcial Siri-ballet clothes, messy hair, having fun

Hand sanitizer should be called hanitizer, it just makes sense. Since having kids along side my sisters, we have never called it anything differently.

I checked out Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the library last week and it was due, so Siri watched it with me. I loved having someone to watch it with!

Right now both of my girls are asleep. Smile.

While they sleep I make these (per tradition via the Thackeray family). Look out Reeses!
I made half since I only needed 4 eggs for our family.

Sandy's Peanut Butter Eggs
1 package crushed graham crackers
1 square butter-soft
2c. crunchy peanut butter
2c. powdered sugar
melted chocolate

Mix all but chocolate. Shape into eggs and chill. Dip in melted chocolate and chill again. YUM.

And that whole marathon business? Totally legit. I liked it. I'm not addicted and dying to run. But I would do it again for sure. It was hard-mostly miles 23-25...if you told me I was running a 20 minute mile I would have believed you :) And minimalist footwear? I buy it. Even after the full 26.2 miles my knees didn't hurt...and that is a beautiful thing considering every single person in my immediately family has had knee surgery AT LEAST once.

The marathon went just as I had planned, imagined, and hoped for. I was so thankful to have a cheering squad-o the smiles they brought to my face! And last time I posted about running alone, which I still like, but race day you're bound to have people near you. (Thankfully this race only had 195 registered). I had Mr.Leadfoot-scuff-my-feet behind me and Mr.I-grunt-like-a-bear-then-hock-a-logie in front of me for the first few miles, but we spread out and I was able to run the 2nd half in peace. My good friend Michele was puking half the marathon and still finished in just over 4 hours, she's amazing! I finished happily at 4 hours 37 minutes. My cold came back with a fury on Sunday but I am finally recovered.

this picture verifies that you know a female that has legs that look just like Tarzan's
