Tiny Snu

Just a nice, big stretch for our tiny Snu that shows just how much she loves her daddy...

This heart-stopping sandwich was inspired by TGIFriday's All-American Sandwich, which has been one of the best sandwiches I have had in long, long time. (Thanks Tim for taking me there!)

As you can see from the diagram, the sandwich contains pretty much every tasty ingredient loved by Americans: toasted bread (I chose wheat because of Ali's passion/obsession/fanaticism of wheat), American bacon, fried chicken, Roma tomatoes, lettuce, and an incredibly delicious green chile spread (green chiles, cream cheese, cumin, sharp cheddar). Pile all that on and then grill it up panini style in the foreman grill.

Amazing.

Add to that some homeade onion rings and you have yourself about a month's worth of calories in one meal! How's that for food efficiency?!

One of my favorite ways that God works
is through other people.

We have the opportunity to rejoice and also mourn with those around us. Relationships with our family and friends are the most important things in this life...and life after this world. We've been a part of some happy occasions recently. We also have friends and family who are having times of pain and fear. (I don't want our blog to appear that life is always a bowl full of cherries, but I'm not about to post stories of trials in my life or others that are very personal.)

Grandma West's funeral was wonderful.
Now Maxine and Harold can go play some tennis together!

Our friends were married, creating a new family!

The Holidays are a great tme to make delicious food.

She's allergic to photoshop...she's already perfect.

The Temple...makes me speechless. It's just the best. We're going to the
Draper Temple open house on Friday the 16th if anyone wants to come.

We visited Grandma Thackeray at her house-what a strong, independent woman!
I loved spending time talking to her.

This is the beginning of a really bad black eye from our game last week.
I still love indoor soccer.

We are thankful to know the people we do,
to live where we do, and to be here at this time.

Happenin'

Christmas Day-Breakfast at Thackerays

Snowshoeing up in PC

We love this time of year! We had a fun Christmas Eve up at my Mom's with snowshoeing and new jammies (too bad Siri was screaming all night). Christmas we got to hang out with both our families and Mark did some hard core sledding in Park City. We've been able to see friends who live out of state and went skiing last week in the new pow.
Mark's Grandmother's funeral was one of the happiest I've been to, it was perfect.
New Year's eve we went to the Torch Light parade with Liz and Dan then had a cozy night at home with soup and a movie...and we actually did stay up until midnight!

Happy New Year!
